Who Art Thou? is
a sale of original art teeming with mystery, intrigue and fun.
It's a fund raising event for Muskoka Arts & Crafts
that also promotes our members, makes one-of-a-kind art accessible to
the public and raises our profile in the community.
You might ask, how will all this be
achieved?
Our
members have created 8"x10" original works of art. All donated work is unframed and sells
for the same amount –$45 (plus taxes).
Here’s where the mystery, intrigue and
fun begins.
Because the work is signed only on the back, people choose
each piece on the basis of what speaks to them personally.
Once the work
is sold, the buyer then learns the artist’s identity. It may be an
upcoming young artist or an established professional.
But, that’s one
of the great and exciting things about the sale, people are buying art
they like.
