ABOUT BRUCE
Bruce has made photographs for Universal
Studios, the World Wildlife Fund, the National Film Board of Canada, and
many other agencies. Widely published (The Conde Naste Traveller, The
National Geographic, The Canadian Geographic, for example, and in
scores of books). His own books include, Marked by the Wild (1973),
Superior, The Haunted Shore (1975), A Sea Within (1984),
Islands of Hope (1992), and Voices for the Watershed (2000).
About Bruce, Freeman Patterson of Camera
Canada wrote, "a man of strong aesthetic sense and
control ... preoccupied with light and peace." Donald Vochert,
Chicago Daily News, remarked, "...prints of the most
exquisite variety, eloquence, and spirit."
After a half-century of doing
photography, Bruce continues to be fascinated by the process. Sharing
his pleasure with others via fine prints is a bonus, and the way he
makes a living.
ABOUT HIS PRINTS

exhibited across Canada by the National Film Board and internationally
by the Canadian Department of External Affairs.

Park, Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Lake Superior, abstracts, Canada' East
Coast, jazz musicians, wildlife, nudes, flowers, and wilderness places.
