Handcrafting
solid wood into lifetime works of art. This has been a passion for Glenn and
Gina Robinson for over 20 years in Central Ontario. In 1990, the husband and
wife team opened Fine Woodworking, their showroom and workshop in Bracebridge,
the heart of Ontario’s Muskoka region. Since that time hundreds of
discriminating clients have been served with exquisite woodworking projects,
reflecting their personal tastes in furnishings, cabinetry and the art of fine,
hand crafted Ontario wood.
Handmade
from select Ontario White Pine or Ontario hardwoods, furniture and cabinetry is
made in historical Canadian and European styling. Shaker, Arts and Crafts,
Empire or French Country or if a more modern look is desired, anything up to
contemporary Art Deco or Scandinavian styling can be made. Fine Woodworking has
expertly designed and created them all.
Our commitment to produce a product that will stand the test of time, and have
the least amount of environmental impact is foremost in our mission. Locally
acquired top quality kiln dried lumber is essential to keep our eco-footprint as
minimal as possible.

Additionally
to handcrafting our pieces, the finishes are applied by hand, using
environmentally friendly products to acquire a look that cannot be obtained by a
sprayed on finish.
Built
to last, every piece is handcrafted, with time proven joinery and harmonious
design, providing generations of functionality, art and beauty to your
environment. Each project is finely hand finished in the distressed, stain, or
paint finish desired and distinctively marked and dated (in a hidden area) as an
original, one of a kind, fine woodworking creation.
Personalized
service is our mainstay. You will appreciate that your order is taken by the
same people who will be creating it.
We
encourage you to bring your ideas. The door is always open for fine woodworking
enthusiasts!
