A self taught award winning artist, Carola currently works and lives in Muskoka, Ontario where her works range from large landscape paintings on canvas to large whimsical sculptures. 

"My sculpture work lead to several years of three-dimensional paintings where I loved pushing the limits of what people expect in a painting. I am currently doing a series of paintings using acrylic paints in a sculptural way."

  Her current landscape paintings that feature primarily birch trees almost seem to jump off the canvas. "I love the simple yet strong presence trees offer and living in such a beautiful setting gives me a constant source of inspiration."

Carola is also the founder and owner of Red Canoe Gallery, operating in Port Carling for the past 17 years and featuring the works of over 100 of Canada's best artists as well as the showplace for Carola's own work. Carola's paintings and sculptures can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.
