Frances has
worked in a variety of craft media. Photography, however, is the medium
with which she feels most inspired.
She has been
the recipient of many awards in salons around the country, both in
nature and pictorial categories. Nature, gardening and structures are
all-consuming interests that influence and motivate. As evidenced from
her images, Frances is "mad about flowers".
An early exposure to
architectural design made a lasting impression, especially an
appreciation for the qualities of form. Today, in her creative life
shared with husband and fellow photographer Earle,
she continues to seek out the magic and majesty of the natural world.
Whether inspired by her own Muskoka idyll or sites abroad, Frances’
discerning eye captures the elusive quality of artistry that exists all
around us.
