The Art of Pricing with Paul Portelli

If you charge too much for your artwork nobody will buy it, but if you charge too little, you've wasted some of your time, energy and talent. Even for artists with years of experience, pricing work is problematic. How do artists price their work? Learn about some of the basic principles of pricing your art.

Instructor: Paul Portelli is a specialist in retail design, merchandising and event coordination. An excellent and enthusiastic speaker full of knowledge, Paul is a mine of information. His past clients have included Holt Renfrew, Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble and Mercedes Benz. He is the author of articles on trends in visual merchandising that have been published in many Canadian publications such as Crafts Plus, Style and Men’s Wear Canada. He has made regular guest appearances on television shows that include Cityline, Craftscape and Savior Faire.

Liquid Mirrors: Photographs by Morgan Earl
Photographer Morgan Earl debut's a dramatic new series of large format images exploring his fascination with the qualities of water. Earl’s work has always been driven by an impressionist approach to imagery. Unafraid to cross artistic boundaries, it is no surprise to find Earl embracing the fully abstract. It has always been a sub-theme in his earlier work and now it is the driving force that propels him to break the virtual bonds of realism yet still contains a story where viewers can add their own interpretation.
