The Art of Pricing with Paul Portelli What is the right price? If you charge too much for your artwork nobody will buy it, but if you charge too little, you've wasted some of your time, energy and talent. Even for artists with years of experience, pricing work is problematic. How do artists price their work? Learn about some of the basic principles of pricing your art. Instructor: Paul Portelli is a specialist in retail design, merchandising and event coordination. An excellent and enthusiastic speaker full of knowledge, Paul is a mine of information. His past clients have included Holt Renfrew, Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble and Mercedes Benz. He is the author of articles on trends in visual merchandising that have been published in many Canadian publications such as Crafts Plus, Style and Men’s Wear Canada. He has made regular guest appearances on television shows that include Cityline, Craftscape and Savior Faire. Cost:

The Teapot Inquiry Rose Pearson's work bridges the personal and the social worlds, creating a dialogue between them. Samuel S. Finlay: A Retrospective A retrospective of the late Samuel Finlay’s work. Born in Northern Ireland, he put himself through art school by winning scholarships for his art. In 1911, he arrived in Toronto, Ontario, where he was employed by The Evening Telegram. A teacher at Toronto's Central Technical Institute, Samuel taught was a member of the Arts & Letters Club, the Ontario Watercolour Society, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts of London, England. This collection of work was largely inspired by his summers spent in Muskoka.
