The Read to Succeed Program
Is designed to introduce all grade four students in Muskoka to their public library, and to ensure that all students are registered and have a valid library card. The Read to succeed program will also encourage regular use of the library with campaign elements that promote children to return 4 times (class & individual visits) and to encourage lifelong reading habits through exciting and carefully planned visits. Kids InfoBits is a database developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5.
The site features a developmentally appropriate, visually graphic interface. The curriculum-related, age appropriate, full-text content is from the best elementary reference sources and magazines. This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more

Students can find age-appropriate, quality, reliable information for research and homework from a variety of sources.

World Book Encyclopedia, all of the articles from the 22 volume print set plus much more. Each of the articles is carefully edited to suit the educational level of the users most likely to use them, from grades 4 through 12 and adults.
