SureNet can take payment through several methods, listed above. You may also choose to have your account placed on one of our automatic payment options. With our automatic payment option, your account will be automatically billed to your preferred method of payment. You will no longer need to worry about making payments, receiving late notices or any other accounting issues.
How do I check the hours I have used?
To check your hours of usage for this month and the previous one, you can click the Account Status option on the side menu or click here. Type your username and password, and click on Login. This will take you to the account information page. There you will be able to check:
Usage to check the hours used.
Addresses to see or change address information.
Phones to see or change phone numbers.
Change Password to change your existing password.
What is the difference between my username and password?
The username is a nickname/login name used to identify you to our systems. It is also part of your email address; for instance if your username is jones then your email address would be jones@surenet.net. Your password is what protects your account. It is a secret word that you must use when logging on to our systems as a means of verification. You should never give out your password and should make sure that it is difficult to guess.
Do not forget your password. Write it down and keep it in a safe place. Remember, your account is your responsibility; don't let others abuse it.
How do I cancel my account?
Before you decide to change Providers, please be aware that we offer all kinds of high speed service, usually at a very competitive rate with No Usage Limits. This means that you will never find additional charges to your account. The end result is that we REALLY do provide the lowest rate for service. Plus you don’t have to lock in to a long term contract at SureNet!
Give us a call to see if you qualify for either High Speed DSL, Cable Internet or High Speed Wireless Service at 705-788-7873 or 1-866-700-1977. If you’ve made the switch already, you can change your mind within the 1st 30days.
To cancel your account you need to send us a written notice either by:

Make sure you specify your name, address, telephone number, and username. We must receive notice 30 days in advance prior to your renewal. There is no refund on pre-paid accounts.
Once we receive a Cancelation Request we will respond within 24hours by email with a Confirmation number. If you do not receive one, please contact our office to make sure we received your request.
Cancellations by telephone will not be accepted as we cannot reliably identify you. Please use the methods listed above.
Our Agreement:
The user must notify The ISP in writing, e-mail or fax to cancel service. **PLEASE NOTE**: Voluntary cancellation of a membership by The Subscriber will only be accepted 30 days prior to your renewal date (the day you signed up). Cancellations during the contract period will result in the balance of the contract being billed to your account. The document must include, account name, user's proper name, address, telephone number, date of birth, signature, and date. This document can be faxed to our accounting office at (705)789-2550 or emailed to accountchange@surenet.net. We cannot accept any cancellations by telephone. Please allow 48 hours for processing of cancellation request. Should any of the required information not be present on the document membership will not be cancelled. Fees for any setup and the service are not refundable. Failure to use the service does not relieve the user of payment obligations. There are NO refunds on cancelled memberships. All user phone calls may be logged and/or
recorded. Upon receipt of cancellation request, ISP will delete all email, directories, files, web pages, and any other information stored on its servers for user. The USER ID and IP Address will be made available for reuse.
How can I change my monthly plan?
Changes will be accepted only by email to accountchange@surenet.net.They will take effect on your next billing date. We regret that we cannot make changes in the middle of your billing month. |
