Stephanie Myshrall
became involved in photography when asked to be part of a Photovoice
project in the winter of 2008 that asked participants to document both
the positive and negative side of raising children in Muskoka. She was
prolific in documenting both the harsh reality of living in a high cost
area and also took time to see the beauty that surrounded her. Stephanie
is an avid walker and a parent of two young children. In her
photographs, you can see that she shares her daughter's sense of discovery
and exploration and that she spends time appreciating the small things
in life, often focusing on what many may rush past and miss. All
of Stephanie's photographs are taken with a small, simple digital
camera, which allows her to always carry it with her and capture those
moments and small beauties that she sees all around her. Please

photographs from Stephanie or to see more of her work. |
