Bill Urban lives and works in Huntsville Ontario.

He was heavily influenced by Abstract Expressionism and the East Coast (New York) art movements of the 1960s. Since then he has developed a somewhat hard edged version of expressionism which sometimes converges with personal symbolism and figurative abstraction.

He has a B.F.A. in Painting from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Pa.(formerly CIT).

Bill Urban has exhibited in both the United States and Canada.
